Apostle Richard & Flavia Kiyimba
The visionary behind Metamorphoo Ministries International is Apostle Richard Kiyimba Matovu, a 52-year-old passionate servant of God. Born again at the age of 10 in 1983, his faith journey began early, and since 1997, he has dedicated over 28 years to serving in ministry. With a deep passion for the Word of God, Apostle Richard founded Metamorphoo Ministries with a heart to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel. His leadership has been instrumental in the ministry’s growth, guiding and nurturing a community of believers committed to Christ and each other
Apostle Richard is married to Flavia Kiyimba, and together, they have four wonderful children: two boys and two girls. Their marriage of 24 years is a testament to their deep love for each other and the foundation they have built in Christ. The Kiyimba family is deeply committed to ministry, and their collective efforts have been instrumental in the growth of Metamorphoo Ministries. Apostle Richard’s commitment to faith, leadership, and family continues to inspire many within the ministry and beyond.
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from River of Life University in California, a Diploma in ministry from Glad Tidings Bible College, a Diploma in ministry from Cambridge Seminary, and a certificate in ministry from Word of Faith Bible Institute. Apostle Richard is both a scholar and a practitioner of the Word. He is anointed with a unique gift for teaching and preaching, and his biblical insights have touched many lives. His teachings, grounded in the Word of God, continue to empower believers to live Christ-centered lives.
Before founding Metamorphoo Ministries, Apostle Richard served as the pastor of Kampala Bible Revelations Church Bugolobi from 2001-2004 and at Kampala Bible Revelations Church Kyengera from 2005-2023, which was a period of 17 years. While there, he oversaw the construction of a glass-structured building from a bar where the ministry started. This symbolized the transparency and openness of the ministry. Under his leadership, the ministry expanded rapidly, establishing five branches, each with its own land and congregation. These branches continue to spread God’s Word far and wide, impacting people from diverse backgrounds.
Apostle Richard’s vision for Metamorphoo Ministries International is rooted in evangelism, discipleship, and empowering believers to walk in their divine purpose. His heart is to see lives transformed by the Gospel and to raise up leaders who will continue spreading God’s love.
